I have had the privilege of knowing Melissa Del Balzo for over fifteen years. Our paths have crossed several times over the years in many ways. She is a person with superior integrity and is the consummate professional.  Melissa sets very high standards for herself and the people who work with her, consistency delivering a quality product or service.  Her diverse background has enabled her to uniquely position herself as a valuable resource, supporting the hospitality industry in a variety of ways. 

I first met Melissa while attending a revenue management training class for Promus Hotels.  Her presentation was well planned, content driven and extremely informative.  What impressed me most about Melissa was her ability to engage with the class, keeping everyone's attention while teaching a relatively dry topic.  She is one of the best public speakers and communicators I have worked with. 

In addition to her training days, I also worked with Melissa when she was a "Hotel Performance Support" director.  Her knowledge and experience was evident when consulting hotels.  She certainly knew the technical aspect of the job;but what impressed me more was her ability to effectively communicate with general managers, directors of sales, sales managers and owners. 

My  most resent interaction with Melissa has been as a sales consultant for two of my business partners at the Embassy Suites Portland - Downtown.  When the owner of my restaurant asked me who I would recommend to help them drive revenue in their newly opened restaurant, the first person I thought of was Melissa.  Her direct sales and public relations experience fit perfectly with what they needed. She worked with all of the partners involved and helped organize and successfully execute a direct sales and public relations plan.  In addition to the restaurant, she assisted our spa owner with her internal marketing and external sales plans which did not exist prior to Melissa's involvement. 

Melissa Del Balzo is a gifted sales and marketing professional.  I would highly recommend her to any organization looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated person to lead a new initiative or manage a project for them.
