Meet Melissa Del Balzo 

Melissa's buoyant spirit and zest for achieving goals has followered her throughout a distinguished 20+ year hospitality industry career where she has risen through the ranks as a recognized subject matter expert in sales, marketing and revenue management.

In 2010, she then repurposed that drive into forming her own company, S.M.R. Hospitality Resources, which currently provides sales, marketing,revenue management and operations services to some of the worlds largest lodging brands.

With a love for competitive sports such as basketball and football, Melissa cheers on her favorite college as well as workplace teams to reach the pinnacles of success in reaching target goals. 

One of her core mantras is that failure is not something to be afraid of; in fact, she helps sales teams understand as to how to move on post shortcomings and get back on track as high-preforming individuals and work groups. As an industry expert, she diagnoses those roadblocks and uncovers ways to overcome root causes preventing revenue goals from being achieved. Literally, she leaves no stone unturned regarding improving profitability.

Inspired by pivotal figures of success and motivation such as Malala and Vince Lombardi, Melissa looks forward to each day as an exiting new challenge where she can leverage her extensive history in the hotel industry and Hilton Revenue Management University Certification into helping properties execute on plan while providing interim staffing solutions for hotels in transition. 

Melissa also provides property level and regional training on sales techniques that helps cultivate the next generation of leads in the hospitality industry.
